It beautifully showcases the friendship between John Renbourn and Wizz Jones. You'll get to hear these two amazing guitarists perform together, both live and in the studio. What makes this album even more touching is that it contains Renbourn's final recordings. These tracks were made just days before his death on March 26, 2015, from a heart attack at his home in Hawick in the Scottish borders. At the time of John's passing, Joint Control was almost done. The two had been working together in a small studio near John's Hawick home since the start of the year.
