Description

This is a truly unique and somewhat controversial part of Rick Wakeman's musical collection. In 1971, Rick Wakeman was a rising star in rock music. Born in West London, he bought his first electronic keyboard at 12. In 1968, he studied piano, clarinet, orchestration, and modern music at the Royal College of Music, but left after a year for session work. He played on songs by many famous artists like Black Sabbath, David Bowie, T. Rex, Elton John, and Cat Stevens. He joined the folk group Strawbs in 1969 and appeared on three of their albums. In 1971, he joined Yes, replacing Tony Kaye and becoming a superstar. Then, unexpectedly, 'Piano Vibrations' came out. Although promoted as the first studio album by English progressive - rock keyboardist Rick Wakeman in its re - release, even Wakeman himself doesn't consider it his album. His role was just as a session musician, and he didn't compose any tracks. He said it was never meant to be a solo album. He was booked to play piano on some backtracks for an unknown singer at Pye Studios in London's Marble Arch. Later, the album was released by PYE Records as 'Piano Vibrations' without the vocalist and with his picture on the back. He was unhappy, and A&M Records, who had him and Strawbs signed, were furious. He only got £9 for his work.

If you own this 'Limited Edition Purple Piano Vibrations Music Record', here's how to enjoy it. First, find a good record player. Make sure the player is clean and in good working condition. Place the record gently on the turntable and set the needle at the start of the record. Then, sit back and enjoy the beautiful piano sounds. When you're done listening, lift the needle carefully and remove the record from the turntable. Store the record in a cool, dry place to prevent warping. Keep it away from direct sunlight and heat. If the record gets dirty, use a soft record - cleaning brush to gently clean the grooves. Don't use any harsh chemicals as they can damage the record.
