This is a 2018 vinyl LP pressing. Identical twins Adam and David Moss of The Brother Brothers carry on the folk tradition for a new - generation. With minimal instrumentation, meaningful lyrics, and amazing harmony, they draw inspiration from Brooklyn, New York, for their full - length debut album, Some People I Know. Growing up in Peoria, Illinois, they were influenced by their father's record collection of the Kingston Trio, the Everly Brothers, the Beatles, and the Beach Boys. After getting music degrees at the University of Illinois in Urbana - Champaign, the brothers had separate musical paths. This album emerges from their years of traveling across the country, playing in other ensembles and sometimes living in different cities.
