Description

This is a limited vinyl LP pressing of the 2005 album 'The Moon Was Blue' by country icon Bobby Bare. It's his first album of new material in over two decades. Produced by his son, indie - rock and Bloodshot recording artist Bobby Bare, Jr., along with Mark Nevers, it combines lazy waltzes and lap - steel, staying true to his country roots. But it also features distorted guitars, spacey atmospheres, strings, horns, and haunting background vocals. The result is a progressive country album with a 70s retro touch. Bare started recording in the late 50s. His first hit single was a demo, and though it had a mix - up with the credit, his big break came in 1962 and his career took off.

To enjoy this vinyl LP, first, make sure your turntable is clean and in good working condition. Gently place the record on the turntable and use the tonearm to lower the needle onto the start of the groove. Sit back and enjoy the rich, warm sound of Bobby Bare's music. When you're done listening, carefully lift the tonearm and return it to its rest. Always handle the vinyl by the edges to avoid fingerprints and scratches. Store the record in its sleeve and keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent warping. If the record gets dirty, you can use a vinyl record cleaning brush to gently remove dust and debris.
