Description

This is a limited edition 1-LP 180gm pressing of the third album in the original 'Chet Baker in Paris' series, originally released on Barclay Records. The three albums in the series include 'Chet Baker Quartet Volume 1 and 2' and 'Chet Baker and his quintet with Bobby Jaspar'. Remastered from the original master tapes, it comes in single sleeves with the original jackets and liner notes. In October 1955, Chet Baker and his Quartet had a series of concerts, especially in France. People were surprised to find that the man who got off the plane was an artist dedicated to his music. The first album recorded in Paris put him in the jazz avant - garde. The subsequent recordings were like a private journal of his emotions, expressed through music. Volume Three titled 'Chet Baker and His Quintet with Bobby Jaspar' combines music from different sessions between October 25, 1955 and February 1, 1956. Only one session on December 26 has Jaspar on tenor saxophone, playing 'Chik - Eta' and 'How About You'. Other sessions feature Baker leading groups of different formations, like quartet, quintet, or octet. Despite being sometimes considered the less - known one in the trilogy, this volume has some of Chet Baker's most beautiful performances during that time.

To enjoy this limited - edition vinyl, simply place it on your turntable and gently drop the needle at the start of the record. When handling the vinyl, make sure your hands are clean to avoid getting fingerprints on the surface, which can affect the sound quality. After use, store it in a cool and dry place, standing upright in a record rack to prevent warping. Also, keep it away from direct sunlight and heat sources. If the vinyl gets dirty, you can use a soft record brush to gently clean the grooves. Enjoy the amazing jazz music of Chet Baker and his group!
