Meet You At the Jazz Corner of the World 2

This is a vinyl LP pressing. The iconic NYC jazz club Birdland held a special place for drummer Art Blakey. Between 1954 - 1960, he recorded 3 live albums for Blue Note at this venue, including 'A Night at Birdland', 'At the Jazz Corner of the World', and this one, 'Meet You at the Jazz Corner of the World'. The lineup on this album features some of the greatest musicians in Blakey's Jazz Messengers, like Lee Morgan on trumpet, Wayne Shorter on tenor saxophone, Bobby Timmons on piano, and Jymie Merritt on bass.

To use this vinyl LP, first, make sure your record player is clean and in good working condition. Place the LP gently on the turntable, and use the tonearm to carefully lower the needle onto the groove at the start of the record. When you're done listening, lift the tonearm off the LP and return it to its rest. As for maintenance, keep the LP in its protective sleeve when not in use to prevent scratches. Clean it regularly with a soft, anti - static brush. Avoid touching the grooves with your fingers as the oils on your skin can damage the record. Store the LP upright in a cool, dry place to prevent warping.
