'Grondal' is the first vinyl offering under his new alias, Nordvest. Nowadays, Semsroth is well - known for his stark and minimalist techno project, Sleeparchive. The tracks on Grondal are icy, melodic, and mostly beatless. They were initially released digitally as Sleeparchive on Bandcamp but received little interest from fans. So, Semsroth re - branded them as Nordvest and removed them from Bandcamp.
