Between Two Shores

After the 2015 GRAMMY - nominated Didn't He Ramble and his 2012 solo debut Rhythm and Repose, Glen Hansard presents Between Two Shores, a ten - track vinyl LP. Hansard produced this album himself for the first time. It's the result of over six years of writing and recording, yet it came together in just weeks. 'Setting Forth' set the direction for the album. Recorded with drummer Brian Blade and his Fellowship Band, it addresses self - doubt in uncertain times. The lead track 'Time Will be the Healer' offers hope to a forlorn lover and reflects on the current social climate. Hansard also touches on the day's politics in 'Wheels on Fire' with the inspiring refrain 'We will overcome!'
