This 2012 vinyl LP is a great collection from the Japanese experimental group Mi - Gu. Mi - Gu features Yuko Araki on drums and vocals, and Hirotaka 'Shimmy' Shimizu on guitar and as producer. Both Araki and Shimizu are also part of well - known bands like Cornelius' backing group, Yoko Ono's Plastic Ono Band, If By Yes, and Brother's Sister's Daughter with Mike Watt. Araki founded Mi - Gu in 2003, releasing the first album on British label Ochre Records, followed by the second in 2006 via Atsugua Records in Japan, and the third in 2009 on Ryuichi Sakamoto's Commons label.
