Blue World

This is a vinyl LP pressing from a 2019 archive release. In 1964, the National Film Board of Canada approached John Coltrane to create the soundtrack for the French - language film 'Le Chat Dans Le Sac' (The Cat in the Bag). That June, Coltrane's classic quartet went to Rudy Van Gelder's studio and recorded five of Coltrane's original pieces that had been recorded before. For years, film viewers who recognized the music thought they were listening to the original recordings, but actually, these were new and unheard tracks.

To use this vinyl LP, you need a record player. Simply place the LP gently on the turntable, lower the tonearm onto the groove, and enjoy the wonderful music. When handling the LP, make sure your hands are clean to avoid leaving fingerprints or dirt on the record. Store it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources to prevent warping.
