Morning Star (Black Vinyl)

This 2017 release is a black vinyl LP. Morning Star commemorates 20 years since the 1997 launch of Underground And Beyond and celebrates 20 great years of Lucifer Was and Record Heaven/Transubstans Records. It features the full 1972 original line - up that worked on Underground And Beyond and In Anadi's Bower, along with the current band version. With seven tracks, it includes highlights like the energetic 'A Forest Of Zaqqum Trees', 'Sunday Morning Griever' that showcases Thore Engen's songwriting genius, and the 15:25 long 'Pure', a heavy/prog/blues/psych/space masterpiece co - written by Engen and Jon Ruder with a distinct Nordic touch. The two - drummer rhythm is powerful in this epic composition. A unique track is 'Sea Of Sleep', co - written by Engen and Dag Stenseng, a song with a basic version that was part of the band's 1972 - 1974 live shows. The title 'Morning Star' is linked to 'The Bringer Of Light a.k.a. Lucifer' and is as bright as the planet Venus in the sky.

To use this black vinyl LP, simply place it on your record player and use the tonearm to gently lower it onto the vinyl. Make sure your record player is clean and in good working condition. When handling the vinyl, always hold it by the edges to avoid getting fingerprints on the playing surface. Store the LP in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent warping.
