Description

This is a vinyl LP pressing. In 1965, drummer Pete La Roca recorded his debut album Basra. Before that, he had played on nine Blue Note sessions as a sideman and was part of bands led by Sonny Rollins and John Coltrane. La Roca invited tenor saxophonist Joe Henderson to front a dynamic quartet. The rhythm section, featuring bassist Steve Swallow and pianist Steve Kuhn, was hailed by liner - note writer Ira Gitler as 'one of the most attuned in jazz'.

To enjoy this vinyl LP, first, make sure your record player is clean and in good working condition. Place the record gently on the turntable and use the tonearm to lower the needle onto the start of the groove. Listen at a comfortable volume. When you're done, lift the tonearm carefully and return it to its rest. Store the vinyl in its sleeve to protect it from dust and scratches. Avoid exposing it to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures as these can damage the record.
