Description

This is a special triple vinyl LP pressing in a gatefold jacket, a live archive release. It commemorates the 50th anniversary of the legendary unreleased recordings from The Who's performances at the Fillmore East in New York City on April 5 and 6, 1968. At that time, America was in turmoil with anti - Vietnam demonstrations, civil rights issues, and student activism, and the day before, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated. Against this backdrop, The Who delivered two fiery live sets. The album features amazing extended versions of 'My Generation', 'A Quick One...', 'Shakin' All Over', and two powerful renditions of Eddie Cochran numbers - 'Summertime Blues' and 'C'mon Everybody' (the latter exclusive to this release).

To use this triple vinyl LP, first, make sure your record player is clean and in good working condition. Gently remove the vinyl from the gatefold jacket, holding it by the edges to avoid fingerprints. Place it carefully on the turntable. Set the tonearm at the start of the record and let the music play. When you're done, lift the tonearm gently and return it to its rest position. Then, put the vinyl back in the jacket to protect it. Keep the LP away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture. Clean it regularly with a record brush to maintain sound quality. Don't stack heavy objects on it to prevent warping.
