This is a 2017 double vinyl LP release, the fifth studio album by Canadian singer - songwriter Feist. After 2011's underrated Metals, Feist made it clear she didn't want to be the sparkly, quirky pop singer from the '1234' video. Her lyrics like 'Built by what we got built for/As much as what we avoid' start with a shout and end with a coo. By the climax, she screams that pleasure is our purpose, hinting at more than just physicality. With punkish hiccups, handclaps, and shouty chants, a song about why we desire turns into a rallying cry for sex as our will. It's a true reminder!
