This is a double 180gm vinyl LP pressing. 'Closer Than Together' is the 10th studio album from the folk - rock band The Avett Brothers. They blend bluegrass, country, punk, pop melodies, folk, rock and roll, indie rock, honky tonk, and ragtime to create a unique sound. As the San Francisco Chronicle puts it, it has the 'heavy sadness of Townes Van Zandt, the light pop concision of Buddy Holly, the tuneful jangle of the Beatles, and the raw energy of the Ramones.'
