Rock Love

Rock Love is the sixth album from the American rock band Steve Miller Band, released in 1971. After the previous album's recording, most of Miller's backing band left, except bassist Bobby Winkelman. They were replaced by members of Winkelman's old group, Frumious Bandersnatch. Ross Valory (a future Journey member) played bass, and Jack King was on drums. Bobby Winkelman moved to rhythm guitar during the live recordings on the first side but isn't credited on the cover. David Denny, who joined later in 1976, was a guest guitarist on 'Blues Without Blame'. The album has three live - recorded blues - rock tracks, like the nearly 12 - minute 'Love Shock' with an extensive drum solo, and four studio tracks.
