People Get Ready

This 2011 EP comes as a vinyl LP pressing. In summer 2009, Steve Reker and Luke Fasano (from Yeasayer) met by chance at Austin City Limits. Sensing a common bond, they started a project that combines contemporary dance and performance with a live - band experience. The band also features Jen Goma (from A Sunny Day in Glasgow) and James Rickman (from Slow Gherkin). As The New York Times said, it offers an experience that goes beyond just hearing music in a club or watching a dance.

To enjoy this vinyl LP, simply place it on a record player. Make sure the needle is clean and in good condition before you start. When handling the vinyl, hold it by the edges to avoid leaving fingerprints on the playing surface. After each use, store the vinyl in its sleeve to protect it from dust and scratches. Keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent warping.
