The album tells the amazing story of his great - grandfather. His great - grandfather left a handwritten diary before he died, and when Jens read it, he was both shocked and proud. The diary reveals that his grandfather traveled solo through Japan on foot at 20, then settled in Siberia for 26 years. He aimed to collect butterfly species and faced killers, leopards, tigers, and robbers. Around the album's release, Norwegian writer Roy Jacobsen will launch a novel based on these diaries.
