In the 1960s, Blue Note had many Hammond B3 organ wizards, like the soulful Big John Patton from Kansas City. In 1965, Patton put together a powerful quintet for his album Oh Baby! The B3 master was joined by trumpeter Blue Mitchell, tenor saxophonist Harold Vick, guitarist Grant Green, and drummer Ben Dixon. This Blue Note Classic Vinyl Edition is in stereo, all - analog. It's mastered by Kevin Gray from the original master tapes and pressed on 180g vinyl at Optimal. To enjoy this vinyl, first make sure your turntable is clean and in good working condition. Gently place the vinyl on the turntable and set the tonearm on the starting groove. As you listen, avoid touching the surface of the vinyl with your fingers to prevent dirt and oil from affecting the sound quality. When you're done, carefully lift the tonearm and remove the vinyl. Store it in a cool, dry place, standing upright to prevent warping. Don't expose it to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures.
