This is a 2020 vinyl LP album from British gothic metal legends Paradise Lost. Titled Obsidian, it's their 16th studio masterpiece. Recorded with producer Jaime Gomez Arellano, it breaks away from the harsh and narrow - minded style of recent works. Instead, it offers a rich and dynamic blend of dark elements. From the beguiling elegance and dual atmospheres of the opening track 'Darker Thoughts' to the crushing, baroque doom of the closing song 'Ravenghast', Obsidian shows the band's masterful command of a wide range of great ideas.
