This is a vinyl LP pressing of 'Let It All Out', released in 1966. It's Nina Simone's 5th album with Philips Records. Some tracks are live recordings. The album features 'Images', an a cappella performance by Simone based on a poem by Waring Cuney. It was recorded live during the same concert as the songs on 'Nina Simone In Concert (1964)'. 'Love Me or Leave Me' and 'Mood Indigo', also on Simone's debut 'Little Girl Blue', have new performances and arrangements here. Nina Simone, an American singer, songwriter, pianist, arranger, and civil - rights activist, combined gospel, pop, and classical music, especially Johann Sebastian Bach, with her expressive, jazz - like contralto singing.
