This is a 1xLP vinyl pressing. In the chaotic fall of 2020, Hiss Golden Messenger conceptualized and wrote 'O Come All Ye Faithful', recorded soon after the well - received 'Quietly Blowing It'. It's a deep reflection on grace, loss, hope, and community. Songwriter M.C. Taylor said he aimed to create a seasonal record that matches the quiet, contemplative, searching, and bittersweet feelings of the season. The album features contributions from Hiss Golden Messenger's extended family and special guests like Grammy winner Aoife O’Donovan, Nathaniel Rateliff, Erin Rae, and Buddy Miller. The tracklist includes Taylor's new tunes, classic hymns, and unique renditions of songs by Spiritualized, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and Woody Guthrie, all in Hiss Golden Messenger's signature style. The album comes with a beautifully simple design by artist Cody Hudson.
