In recent years, the metal scene has seen Bloodbound rise to the top of the genre. Formed in 2004 by former Street Talk members Fredrik Bergh and Tomas Olsson, the band may have a black - metal - like image with 'corpse paint' in promo photos and some live shows. However, their music is more in the style of power metal bands like Helloween and Iron Maiden, with lyrics that sometimes touch on darker themes.
