Music from the Film Girl on the Third Floor

Touch and Go is set to release a double LP of spine - chilling instrumental music from the horror film 'Girl on the Third Floor'. As co - creator Steve Albini described it, this music is truly 'creepy'. When director Travis Stevens asked Steve Albini of Shellac to compose for his new horror flick, Albini faced a fresh creative challenge. After meeting with Stevens and Greg Newman from Queensbury Pictures, Albini joined the project and brought in Tim Midyett (Mint Mile, Silkworm) and Alison Chesley (Helen Money) to create the soundtrack. Albini said of working with them, 'Tim and Alison are amazing musicians, open - minded and eager. Working with them on writing and playing was a breeze, and I'd love to do it again.'
