Music from Big Pink - 50th Anniversary

This is a double vinyl LP pressed at 45rpm, a digitally remastered and expanded 50th anniversary edition of a celebrated rock album. To mark the 50th anniversary of The Band's debut album, Music From Big Pink is released on two LPs. It features a new stereo mix produced by Bob Clearmountain from the original four - track analog master, offering amazing clarity and including some previously unreleased studio chatter. Chris Bellman cut the vinyl lacquers for the new stereo mix at 45rpm at Bernie Grundman Mastering, expanding the album from one LP to two. The Band, a Canadian - American roots rock group formed in 1968 in Toronto, consists of Rick Danko, Garth Hudson, Richard Manuel, Robbie Robertson, and Levon Helm.

To enjoy this double vinyl LP, first, make sure your turntable is in good working condition and set to 45rpm. Gently place the vinyl on the turntable and lower the tonearm carefully. When you're done listening, lift the tonearm back to its rest and cover the turntable to protect it from dust. To keep the vinyl in good shape, always handle it by the edges to avoid fingerprints and scratches. Store it in a cool, dry place, and keep it in its sleeve when not in use. If the vinyl gets dirty, you can use a vinyl cleaning brush to gently remove the dust.
