Mount Qaf (Divine Love)

This 2017 vinyl LP release, Mount Qaf (Divine Love), is Peter Matthew Bauer's second album after 2014's Liberation. It features esoteric love songs with strange and primitive rock 'n' roll performances. Each song is filled with a desperate, skeptical, and highly personal mysticism, driven by Bauer's unique view of life. Bauer, well - known as the bass guitarist and organist of the indie rock band The Walkmen, recorded seven studio albums with them. After The Walkmen went on an 'extreme hiatus', Bauer released his debut solo album, Liberation, and toured with The Devourers, a new backing band with Fleet Foxes' Skyler Skjelset on guitar.
