This 2018 vinyl LP from Nashville's singer - songwriter Sam Lewis is a masterpiece. Comprising 14 tracks that took over a year and a half to write and perform, it shows Lewis' classic style has matured. His refined worldview comes through as he says these new songs were tough to write but crucial in today's world. Recorded at Southern Ground Studios with Brandon Bell, the album ranges from the upbeat 'Loversity' to the darker 'One in the Same', a guitar - heavy ballad like The Black Keys' 'Brothers'. Besides original tracks, it includes 'Accidental Harmony' by John Mann and 'Natural Disaster' by Loudon Wainwright. All songs revolve around a universal theme: we're all on a journey, running from and towards something, and unity can co - exist with diversity.
