In spring 2020, a tornado hit Nashville, making Gillian Welch and David Rawlings' studio unusable. Right after, the global pandemic shut down their community and touring life. But they found inspiration, set up recording equipment in their living - room, and recorded 10 performances of favorite songs like John Prine's “Hello In There,” Bob Dylan's “Abandoned Love,” and Norman Blake's “Ginseng Sullivan” on their reel - to - reel. 'All The Good Times' is their first collaborative album with both names on the cover and was nominated for a 2021 Grammy for Best Folk Album.
