Description
Fire Deuce, a side - project of Travis Stever from Coheed and Cambria, has an exciting journey. In 2004, during Coheed's tour with 3, the idea of a fun heavy - metal project emerged. After the tour, Stever went to Woodstock, NY, to jam with 3 members, and Cleveland Stever was born in a drunken moment. The 'Children of the Deuce' EP, released in 2005, combined classic rock and heavy metal with satirical lyrics. Later, due to feeling unappreciated, Cleveland Stever went into hiding and created demos for the next record, released as 'Deep Down and Dirty' in 2007. In 2016, Evil Ink Records found him in a storage unit and remastered 'Children of the Deuce' with a new track 'Deliverance'. After positive feedback, he returned to the studio, but all original members quit. He then tried country music and recorded 'White Claw'. After being in jail, Travis Stever and Evil Ink Records got help from Richard Christy and others to finish studio material. The upcoming 'Lords of Diesel' EP is a heavy - metal sonic adventure that will take listeners to an ultimate musical high.
