Pencey Sloe, a Parisian trio led by the charismatic Diane Pellotieri, released their first full - length album 'Don't Believe, Watch Out' in 2017. They blend shoegaze and dream pop, laying down a unique layer of weightless guitars and ethereal singing. The band stands out for its ability to combine intricate harmonies with an angelic voice, driven by an addictive rhythm. Their songs are like sonic chiaroscuros, bright on the surface yet dark beneath. Recording was an indescribable emotional experience for the band.
