Lord is the first - ever release from the Seattle - based punk band FF, a three - piece group made up of Claire Nelson, Harley Thompson, and Michael Abeyta. Throughout their early days, they've been on the outskirts of the vibrant Northwest DIY underground scene. They've crafted a unique set of gloomy and ethereal punk anthems. Sure, they draw inspiration from bands like My Bloody Valentine, the Wipers, Sonic Youth, and the Flying Nun Records group. But the songs on Lord break free from the confining 90s revivalist mold.
