Band Aid, a charity supergroup founded in 1984 by Bob Geldof and Midge Ure, aimed to raise funds for famine relief in Ethiopia. Their single became the Christmas number one, exceeding expectations. To mark 40 years since the original 'Do They Know It’s Christmas' and raise more for the Band Aid Trust, new 1LP and 1CD formats will be released on November 29th.
