In March 2020, Nashville artist Molly Tuttle faced a tornado and the pandemic. Growing up in California and touring solo, she was forced home like other musicians. To find comfort, she revisited beloved songs and decided to record an album with LA producer Tony Berg, despite being 2,000 miles apart. Tuttle learned Pro Tools, recorded and engineered her parts at home, then sent them to Berg. Berg got legendary session musicians to add instrumentation in their home studios. The result is a 10 - track album spanning musical decades, from FKA Twigs to Cat Stevens. It'll be released as 'but i'd rather be with you' on Compass Records in a pink limited edition.
