Breezy

After a brief hiatus, Macula Dog is back with the Breezy EP, featuring four brand - new tracks that will entice rhythm enthusiasts. This is Macula Dog's second release on Wharf Cat Records, following the 2016 Why Do You Look Like Your Dog LP. Recorded entirely live at Bug Sound East studio with the help of analog expert Paul D Millar (from Ariel Pink's Band), Breezy is the band's first release with an outside engineer. It offers a new level of sound quality, especially a powerful low - end, ideal for the 12' 45PRPM format. Fans waiting for these new songs, some of which are already in their live sets, will be blown away. The EP is full of stories about industry, aging, apocalypse, and insanity, showing the band's first foray into pop and 'conventional' song structures, only hinted at in past works like 'Lawnmower' and 'Purchase Power Station'. To enjoy the Breezy EP, simply play it on a compatible record player. You can listen to it alone to fully immerse in the music or share it with friends for a great time. There aren't many special care instructions, but keep the record in a cool, dry place to prevent warping. When handling the record, hold it by the edges to avoid fingerprints on the playing surface.
