This is a limited colored vinyl LP pressing. It's a 2013 collection featuring recordings from the British Prog/Experimental/Jazz legend. In September 1968, UK's Soft Machine completed their second US tour with the Jimi Hendrix Experience. Vocalist/drummer/multi - instrumentalist Robert Wyatt stayed in the US after the tour, recording in Hollywood and New York. When he returned to England in December 1968 to restart the Soft Machine, many recordings were forgotten. Now, for the first time, all four '68 recordings by Robert are released! Two demos are short songs, and two are side - long tracks re - recorded later by the Soft Machine. This release is a key precursor to Robert's solo career and the Post - Psychedelic Soft Machine's European Jazz/Rock journey.
