His first Transistor Sound 45 release, 'Rise', features a strong rhythm section and heavy horn arrangement backing his smooth vocals, inspiring us to stay positive. The B - side, 'Tobacco and Sage', is an instrumental track with an infectious groove that reflects his Afro - Cuban roots. The release was co - produced, recorded, and mixed by Sergio Rios, well - known for his work with Orgone, Jungle Fire, Neal Francis, and hitmakers like Alicia Keys and CeeLo.
