Black Mercy was formed in a small practice space on Austin, TX's east side. The band features Jason Morales, Clarke Wilson, Joey Cortez, Ben Webster, and Noble Brown, musicians who've played in Austin bands together for over 20 years, but this is their first joint project. Their music combines elements of the 1981 - 84 punk/hardcore era of Dischord Records, the mid - nineties SPAZZ/west coast power violence movement, Midwest's Negative Approach, and Northwest's Poison Idea. In just under 10 minutes and across 8 songs, Black Mercy unleashes total chaos that'll leave you breathless. This limited - edition 45 vinyl is available in 16 different colors, with only 300 copies worldwide. Each is hand - stamped and numbered, and the first 100 come with a holographic sticker by Kristin Autry.
