All recordings are newly mastered from original 8 - track tapes (except one 1LP side recorded on 4 tracks), expertly mixed by Rainer Maillard and Sidney C. Meyer from Emil Berliner Studios. Pressed on 180gm virgin vinyl by Optimal, each record comes in a deluxe gatefold with original artwork, extra photos, and facsimiles of recording documentation. The records are housed in a rigid slipcase. Each gatefold also includes a note about the technical background and procedure of the Original Source Series and a facsimile of the original tape carton box.
