Composed and orchestrated by Justin Hurwitz, it features vocal performances from stars Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling, with lyrics by Pasek and Paul. Directed by Damien Chazelle, the film follows a musician and an aspiring actress falling in love in LA. It's the third movie pairing Gosling and Stone as lovers. The title refers to LA's nickname and a state of being out of touch with reality.
