On October 29, 2021, Mastodon will launch their eagerly awaited ninth full - length album, HUSHED AND GRIM, via Reprise Records. Recorded in their hometown over the past year with producer David Bottrill, this is their most ambitious work yet. It features 15 tracks blending rock, psychedelia, punk, metal, alternative, and prog. The album also has an air of loss, loneliness, and longing as the trio of vocals bid farewell to their late manager Nick John. The LP is pressed on 180 - gram vinyl.
