Exodus (1LP and 10 Limited Edition)

To celebrate the amazing new biopic 'Bob Marley: One Love' about a global icon, Island/UMe is releasing the timeless album 'Exodus' in a new limited edition. This version has the original album with an alternate cover, an exclusive 10” LP of rare bonus tracks, and an essay by Jamaican music historian Herbie Miller, all presented in a gatefold design for the first time. Herbie Miller writes in the new liner notes that 'Exodus' reveals the thoughts and reflections of one of the 20th - century's most respected artists and revolutionaries. It shows Bob's fears, vulnerability, his dedication to making the world fairer, and spreading his Rastafari spirituality. The alternate cover, seen in a key scene in the 'One Love' film, is the original design by Neville Garrick. It depicts a migrating bird with green, gold, and red wings, with Marley and the Wailers in a global sphere watched over by Haile Selassie, symbolizing the parting of the Red Sea. The classic cover will be on the back of this limited - edition release. The 10” LP includes dub versions of 'Exodus', 'Jamming', and 'Punky Reggae Party', and the rare 'Roots'. All tracks are on vinyl for the first time in decades.
