Itasca's Kayla Cohen penned the much - awaited follow - up to her well - received 2016 album Open to Chance in a century - old adobe house in rural New Mexico. Inspired by the Four Corners region's landscape and history, the magnificent Spring, whose title evokes both the season and scarce local water sources, leads listeners on a spiritual journey to high desert headwaters. With contributions from Chris Cohen, Cooper Crain (Bitchin' Bajas), James Elkington, and members of Gun Out t and Sun Araw, Spring showcases Cohen's most subtly brilliant and confident songs to date.
