Hailing from Nashville, Tennessee, A Thousand Horses is a remarkable Southern rock ensemble. With a perfect mix of bar - band confidence and country - pop savvy, they blend hard - hitting classic rock, modern country, and Americana that's road - ready. Their sound falls between the likes of the Black Crowes, Florida Georgia Line, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. Formed by longtime friends Michael Hobby (lead vocals, harmonica) and Bill Satcher (lead guitar) from Newberry, South Carolina, who started making music at 15, the band also includes Graham DeLoach (bass, vocals) and Zack Brown (guitar, vocals). They released a self - titled debut EP in 2010, signed with Big Machine Records/Republic Nashville in 2014, and had the hit single '(This Ain't No) Drunk Dial', planning to launch their official debut album the next year.
