Serration Pulse, composed of Daniel Tomczak (Terrible Twos) and Kayla Anderson, both Metro Detroit natives back in the city after years in Nashville, formed in 2012. Their music emerged from Nashville's electronic/noise scene. Tomczak draws inspiration from machine sounds, radio noises, and vacuum cleaners since childhood. Anderson, more visually - driven, writes the lyrics. Together, they create a serenely somber musical balance. Their self - titled EP, mastered by Eric Van Wonterghem of Absolute Body Control, features three glacial, menacing electro - dirges.
