Description

Released in 2002, Rit's House is a remarkable instrumental album. The only exception is the Ritenour & McDonald version of the Police's 1981 hit, 'Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic'. Ritenour and the former Doobie Brothers vocalist turn this song into a soothing adult contemporary/quiet storm ballad. The album is recorded on 180g heavy - weight vinyl for top - notch sound quality. It comes in a gatefold cover and is protected by a premium vinyl outer sleeve. The 'Play 33 1/3 LP Series' from Universal Music Korea is a first - issue project for masterpiece albums that were never on vinyl. The heavyweight vinyl is pressed in Germany, and Khiov designs the project, reforming original artworks for the LP size and hand - making the sleeves. Through this series, you can experience amazing analogue sounds and enjoy beautiful artworks. Lee Ritenour has had creative ups and downs. While some of his commercial pop - jazz works don't fully show his improvising skills, when he gets the chance, he's a great improviser. Rit's House, with its soul - jazz/post - bop style reminiscent of the late '60s and early '70s, is one of his more memorable efforts. His guitar playing is strongly influenced by Wes Montgomery, especially in tracks like 'Mizrab', '78th & 3rd' with organist Joey DeFrancesco, and 'Olinda'. 'Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic' is a standout, a far cry from both the rest of the album and the original Police version. It's the album's sole vocal track, and the rest is instrumental. Although 1992's Wes Bound is still considered his best jazz studio album, Rit's House is also worthy of your attention.

Using your Rit's House vinyl album is easy. First, make sure your turntable is clean and in good working condition. Gently remove the album from its protective outer sleeve and gatefold cover. Place the album on the turntable and use the tonearm to carefully lower the needle onto the start of the record. Sit back and enjoy the great analogue sounds. When you're done, lift the tonearm gently and return it to its rest position. Then, put the album back in its gatefold cover and the protective sleeve to keep it safe. Keep the album in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat to prevent warping. If the album gets dirty, you can use a record cleaning brush to gently clean the grooves. Avoid touching the grooves with your fingers as this can leave oils and dirt that may affect the sound quality.
