To coincide with the release of Owen's new (third) album 'I Do Perceive' on both CD and LP, Polyvinyl is also releasing the first two albums on vinyl. After American Football disbanded, Mike Kinsella crafted Owen, stripping down the sound and creating something unique. On this debut, he handled all writing and performance himself. Retaining the charm of his previous band, 'Owen' is more subdued and sparse, resulting in a cult - classic album.
