Produced by Blake Mills (known for working with Fiona Apple and Alabama Shakes), this album is a fresh debut for Hoop as it's the first of her solo records made outside of Tony Berg's Zeitgeist Studios where she and Mills were mentored. Hoop says Mills is extremely musical and emotionally intelligent. He pushed her to strip away layers, making the album as close to a live experience as possible, using whole live takes and working fast. As Hoop puts it, 'It's still full of that raw, new - born energy.'
