Lupus Metallorum is the second album by Old Iron. Right from the first riff, it showcases the trio's straightforward blend of brutal noise rock and heavy - bass sludge. The thick riffs and menacing beats trigger the same rush as a battle cry. Guitarist/vocalist Jesse Roberts' howl stirs a primal reaction, much like the Western Huns' call to war. If they aimed just for a Pavlovian effect, this album would make you crave their riffs. It fully captures the band's colossal sound, previously best felt live. The first pressing comes with a hand - screened lyrics sheet and bonus artwork (limited to 250 copies).
