It's been 15 years since Big Stick's last full - fledged record release. That's longer than the emergence cycle of some winged cicadas. John Gill and Yanna Trance, the dynamic duo of Big Stick, are thrilled to share a brand - new album. Simply named LP, it's a long - playing collection of Big Stick's best works gathered over several years. This release is a joint project between Big Stick's new Drag Racing Underground record label and Forte Music Distribution. Gill and Trance handle most of the vocals and instruments on the 15 - track album, with some musician friends making guest appearances. Recorded mainly at their own studio using a vintage Otari MX - 70 16 - track analog tape machine, Big Stick self - produces. Gill plays guitar and keyboard, while Trance handles percussion, bass, and keyboards. Both are songwriters. The new album comes with a retrospective photo collage, artworks by Gill and Trance, and liner notes full of interesting facts. Both formats include a bonus CD, Some Of The Best Of Big Stick EP, with 10 classic Big Stick tracks.
