The Mountain Goats have a long - standing recording history. Since the era when 'tape - only label' was a well - understood term, they've been in the music scene. Their current lineup, featuring John Darnielle, Peter Hughes, and Jon Wurster, has been touring actively since 2007, hitting Australia, England, the U.S., and even a cruise ship.
